A beautiful contemporary design with our easiest Level function. This design opens to a king size bed in a single motion.

Belton is a clean-line three-seat sofa with a medium-firm seat: not the softest in the lineup, not the most formal, just a straightforwardly useful frame that works in most rooms and holds up under real use. At 89.25 inches wide with the Level mechanism, the King Sofa is the manual version: gas-spring assist handles the physical lifting, no motor required. For the room that needs a full sofa and a king bed, this is the direct option.


The Level function converts in one motion. Set the loose back cushions aside, then lift the seat (the gas spring takes most of the effort) and the seat and back lay flat. Out from the wall. You'll need 89.75 inches of clearance from the wall to the foot of the bed. There's no half-open option on Level (it's fully sofa or fully bed) and no power operation. The spring does the work; you guide it. Most people manage this solo without difficulty.


The king bed is 76 by 80 inches. The mattress is a five-inch cold-cured high-density foam pad built into the frame, CertiPUR certified, rated daily sleeper. Seat height is 17.75 inches, seat depth 21.75 inches, arm height 24.75 inches. The Belton seat runs medium-firm, which means both sitting and sleeping functions work without either compromising the other.


Solid spruce and birch plywood, FSC and PEFC certified. Made in the EU, made to order, four to six weeks. Over 100 upholstery options across performance fabric and leather.


Belton King Sofa makes sense when you need a full three-seat sofa and a king bed together, with a simple mechanism and no electrical components to maintain. If push-button operation matters, the Belton King Sofa Power is the same frame with a motor. Against Fantasy King Sofa, Belton is the cleaner, more understated design; Fantasy offers more leg and finish options for a slightly more expressive look.
